Kathleen T. Kollman, also writing as K.W. Taylor, writes a newspaper column for the Dayton City Paper that focuses on cult and genre programming. She has an MA in English Literature and a BA in Electronic Media, and is the author of a three-book urban fantasy novel series currently seeking publication. She serves as Editor-in-Chief of Genre-Commentary, a web magazine and portal for academic and creative non-fiction essay analyses of science fiction, fantasy, and cult television and film. Kollman is a particular expert on Joss Whedon, Stephen King, Walter S. Tevis, and general literary criticism from feminist/gender and psychoanalytic perspectives.
