I am a professional speaker, a "general futurist," and speak to a wide range of largely business and government audiences. As the Chief Information Officer for the City of Kirkland, a published science fiction author, and a futurist (see www.futurist.com for some of my articles), I have experience giving interactive "conversational" or keynote talks designed to help audiences think and talk about the future. My fees vary by the audience, amount of travel, preparation involved an other factors. I will and do give free or low-cost talks a few times a year in the local area (basically Seattle), particularly to education groups, non-profits, and/or students. Business Keynotes generally cost less than five thousand dollars.
