Bart Stuck received the degrees SBEE, 1968, SMEE 1969, ScD 1972, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He worked at Bell Laboratories 1972-1984, published over thirty technical papers, coauthored one book, lectured at over fifty universities and research labs in North America, Europe, and Japan. From 1984-1998 he headed Business Strategies, a network computing consultancy that had over 450 client engagements and was involved in over $60B in capital placements. Since 1998 he has been Managing Director, Signal Lake, a private equity fund concentrating on networking infrastructure business investments. He has published a number of articles on trends in telecommunications in the trade press, and spoken at a number of telecom industry forums.
