'By day, Jason leads Centric / Agency of Change, a company he founded in 1994. Centric helps enterprises and organizations develop complete interactive strategies, from branding to social media and virtual worlds. You could say he's a slimy marketer. You could say he's an evil corporate shill. Neither is completely accurate. At night, he writes science fiction that's made him a finalist for the Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award, the Sidewise Award for Alternate History, and has earned him Hugo nominations. His work has been seen in Sci Fiction, Interzone, Strange Horizons, Futurismic, GUD, original and reprint anthologies edited by Ellen Datlow and Gardner Dozois, and other publications. He has two novels upcoming in 2010 from Prime Books: Winning Mars and Eternal Franchise. And he has an engineering degree. He's also a popular speaker on marketing, social media and virtual worlds, having spoken at venues like Harvard University, the Directors Guild of America, the Internet Strategy Forum, Loyola Marymount University, The eMarketing Forum, Inverge, Virtual Worlds Expo, Virtual Worlds Conference, and the Home Entertainment Forum.
